Yup, they really, truly exist, and they cook more than any other family in Sweden. Their family factory is in Källby in the flat lands of Västergötland. Here they make stuffed cabbage rolls, lasagne, pizza, pirogis and single-portion dishes in great numbers.
The brands Billys, Gorbys and Familjen Dafgård are leaders in their frozen-food segments, but the competition with companies such as Findus and Felix is stiff.
We first met the family in 2006. Overall we’ve mostly served as a sounding board in the development of the product line and the brands. But we’ve also of course worked on a number of ads as well, both print ads and TV spots.
