In addition to the F&B ad agency, there are six members in our family. These are companies we started with gifted individuals we've known for a while. Colleagues that have chosen to specialize in areas a little outside of the core of what we do. Each company stands on its own feet and has its own clients. We get along well and work together on many projects. But everyone involved is involved on their own merits, often in stiff competition with other suppliers.

Here's a little bit about each of them. To find out more, just click through to the different home pages.

KOLLO F&B:

Founded in 2000 by Marcus Engman and Anders Fors, both from IKEA. The vision was to make it easier and more fun to shop - and that's still the core idea.

The method is to always see the storefront as a strategic and tactical communication tool. They work with the whole chain - everything from strategy on the product offerings, to boutique design, to in-store communications. Today 20 employees work at our offices in Helsingborg. Clients are from all over Scandinavia, including for example Apoteket, KappAhl, IKEA, Systembolaget, Bergendahlsgruppen och Iittala.

HAPPY F&B:

Started in 1997 by Anders Kornestedt, a former art director at F&B. In the last five years Happy has been one of the world's most awarded and renowned design firms. At the offices on Kungsgatan in Gothenburg 18 employees are at work on all different types of design-based communications - everything from small artistic projects to designing an entire company identity with packaging and web sites. Systembolaget, Röhsska Museum, Erik Penser Fund, Tele2, AMF, GP, Museum of Architecture, Swedish Radio and Apoteket are examples of recent clients.

F&B FACTORY:

Factory is the production company in the F&B family. Nearly 40 people work here on original production, texts, image production, and web design. A large part of the business comes from F&B companies though Factory has its own client base as well, with both advertising agencies and other businesses; GP, SCA, Tele2 and E.ON to name a few. The offices are in the Centrum building in Gothenburg, a stone's throw from F&B.

F&B CASE:

Started in 2004 by Sven-Olof Bodenfors, one of the founders of F&B. Case is expert at development and consulting in brand marketing, media and management. Sven-Olof also is responsible for a large portion of board of directors' duties. Media companies like Stampen, Prime PR and the School of Business, Economics and Law at Gothenburg University are some client examples.

SMFB:

In the summer of 2006 we put our heads together with colleagues at Shnel & Melnychuck in Oslo and started SMFB. It's gone swimmingly since then. By the spring of 2008 the agency was named fifth best in Norway by Kampanje newspaper - Freia chocolate and Kiwi stores are two large local clients. And Tele2 is a good example of an assignment where we've worked together closely and seamlessly. Together we can offer a very strong Scandinavian presence - especially when it comes to the web.

F&B INHOUSE

F&B Inhouse is our freshest family member. Together with Anders Björkqvist we're building an agency that will concentrate on smarter dialog with different types of retailers and distributors. It can be anything from cars to food, clothes or services. Stores, franchises or independent businesses.

The soul of our model is developing web-based tools so that retailers themselves can handle everything from marketing plans and budgets to booking their own advertising and creating brochures. Of course we work with all the different types of self-support - in-house store materials, for example.

Anders Björkqvist has extensive experience as head of Volvo's inhouse agency. Volvo is also our first large client.
